PERSISTENCE - the KEY to success

Did you know -

- 80% of all sales are made AFTER the 5th CALL

- 48% of all sales people try ONCE and QUIT

- 25% call TWICE and QUIT

- 12% call THREE times and QUIT

10% KEEP ON CALLING and amke 80% of all the sales

I challenge EVERYONE today to make ONE more phone call to that person you are trying to get a hold of - according to these stats, you WILL BREAK THROUGH!

  1. BTW - I left 5 voice mail messages to the ELITE health club Equinox and got a call back yesterday on the WAY BACK from Westlake Leaders from the Director of sales of the ENTIRE corporation - he LOVED my persistence and is VERY interested - now that should motivate EVERYONE to persist!!!

  2. This is fantastic information! You normally don't even think of these things. I know that I have always felt that calling too many times makes me feel like i'm bothering them and that perhaps they weren't interested in the first place. But these statistics, and your track record, shows that that's not the case at all. Thank you for the encouraging post!

    Just got back from a bit meeting in Austin, Texas meeting w/ a 16 location franchise of AT & T - looks like we will be working together and doing sales training in January.

    Remember, another VERY important aspect when wanting to increase sales is making sure you have you PLENTY of activity going on. In other words: prospect, phone call, cold-call, network, social media - do EVERYTHING you have to do to keep your pipeline/funnel full! So important.
